Calling all Quake gamers! We are very pleased to have the opportunity to sponsor prizes for two upcoming Quake-related events.

First up, the ever-resourceful and always awesome people in #TastyCast are currently taking sign-ups for an Action Quake 2 tournament! Action Quake Online recently launched, bringing a bunch of new AQ2 servers to the scene, and that initiative has apparently sparked the need for a tournament. For more details and to sign up, check out Tastyspleen's forum thread. Each member of the winning team will win a $25 ThinkGeek.com gift certificate.

Next is a Quake II Classic Cup, held by the amazing folks at Silent Gamers! Full details can be found at the Silent Gamers website. The winner will receive a Razer Lachesis mouse, as it is our custom here at Global Gamers to reward 1v1 tournaments with fancy peripherals. Video broadcasting for the tournament will of course be provided by none other than TastyCast, so you won't want to miss it!
